For practical learning the last term we  made a hand-stitched headphone bag.

I chose these patterns because they looked nice together.

The part I found the trickiest was sewing the letters on.

The part I enjoyed the most was sewing the bag together.

I am proud of my head phone bag.

  

What Could We Do

We had to be creative and think of ways we can repurpose glass. Here are my ideas! 

Art in term 1 2020

 

In term 1 2020 my class, room 15 did some art.  We had to do a portrait of a teacher each. I did two because I was a fast finisher.  I did Miss Robertson and Mrs McGinniss here is a picture of them.

Fact or Fiction

         Here are my three paragraphs describing my holiday experience.  Can you guess which are fact                                                                       or fiction?

This was an activity called word art. All of the words I used relate to water.

Water Cycle

First it evaporated from the heat of the sun then it turned into back into liquid (condensation) then it precipitated and rained back into the bag and the bag collected it again.

Evaporation means it turns into a gas and rises to the clouds.
Condensation means it turns back into liquid again and forms a cloud.
Precipitation means it rains.  
Collection means  it collects in places like oceans and rivers.

Hockey 2020

At the moment we are doing hockey.  But I have only done it once with my class (room 15.)  I have been learning how to hit the ball and the angle to hit the ball on. Also I have learnt which side of the stick to hit the ball on.

Autumn acrostic poem

Swimming trial

On the 10th  of march some students from school went to the Splash Centre to do a swimming trial. Five students came from my class, it was so exciting for us although I was a bit nervous. I went with Liriyah, Rachel and Cassady. I hope I get to go to inter-school swimming.
