Here is my home slideshow.

senior Athletics 2018

I did Athletics yesterday and I was tired.  After that  I did high jump, vortex, long jump, sprints, 300 metre run and quoits .  I was so thirsty too.  When I got back to class I was hot too.  I said to myself "I'm going to go to sleep when I get home."  I was starving!

Term 4

In 5 weeks we are going on camp. For camp we are going to have a sleepover at Napier Aquarium. Next Thursday its the Halloween disco and we are going swimming on wed/Thurs/fri. I'm so Excited.  We are going to have subway for lunch on the way back from Napier.  We are going to ocean spa on the last day!

Term 3 Reflection

Art Exhibition

This is the art. I entered in the Carlton School art exhibition.

Goal for Term 3 and 4

I want to get better at spelling. I want to move one essential list.

Simple Sentences

Over the last 2 weeks we have been learning to write simple sentences. Here are 3:
1. My mum had a baby.
2. Sometimes I go to McDonalds for breakfast.
3. Children like to play on the laptop.

A Trip To The Gym

At the gym we get to jump to the pit. It is so fun. We have only been 2 times. We are going to go to the gym only 2 more times this term. Have you been to the gym before? I love gymnastics!!  Can you do flips? I can't yet but I can do handstands.

6 sentence story

A long time ago there was a little fairy

called Kate. She lived in the magic forest. She was very good at gymnastics.There was a problem her arm was broken so she couldn’t do gymnastics anymore. Luckily it healed up so fast she could do gymnastics again.So she did gymnastics for the rest of her life!

Queen's Birthday Weekend

I went to my dads house out in the country.
I saw sheep in the paddock eating the grass.
I heard people talking.
I smelled sheep poo.
I thought it was cool seeing all of the animals.

The Trip To The Art Gallery.

When we walked  into the art gallery we saw lots of paintings. We talked about the art. Then we
 got to design our own shape. We painted it by mixing colours.

Tree Art

We did tree art. We had to do it on a black piece of paper. We were experimenting with colour. We made the paint go darker and lighter by adding white and black paint. We used a paper palette to mix our paint. We had to draw at tree on black paper. I chose the colour red for my background. It was so hard to draw the branches on my tree.

Open Day

On Thursday we had an open day.

My Fish

I painted one side of my fish.  I drew the other side with crayon. Then I stuffed my fish with newspaper.  I stapled around the edges of my fish.  It is hanging up in my classroom. I like it.
